You know Feng Shui means water and air in Chinese.

And…

that it has something to do with your home.

But after that, it usually gets confusing for most people:

All this talk about compasses, Chi energy, luck, “Bagua wheels” and everything else.

This is why Feng Shui is so often misunderstood!

The truth is:

Feng Shui isn’t about any of that.

First of all…

…Feng Shui isn’t even Chinese. (Shocked? Don’t worry, we can get back to that later.)

What’s in this Guide…

I’ll show you what Feng Shui REALLY is, where it comes from…

AND How you can accurately predict a person’s behavior and habits, just from the placements of the different rooms in their home.

With guaranteed accuracy.

But…

Because this guide is SO in-depth (it’s nearly an entire book!)

I’ve segmented it into different chapters you can easily navigate to using the buttons below. (great for when you want to bookmark it and pick up reading it later)

What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is a natural science. Consider it: a mixture of environmental psychology, chemistry, and physics (by Greek definition: the study of nature).

In essence..

“Feng Shui” studies how our natural – and built – surroundings, tangibly influence and shape our daily lives.

Feng Shui is a Behavioral Science

Your home affects everything you do in your daily life. It impacts the way you eat, the way you sleep, how you talk to your spouse, and even how you spend your money.

That’s why we call it Behavioral Feng Shui.

Behavioral Feng Shui can reveal everything about any person in any house, anywhere in the world; because the universal laws which govern how our house influences our lives are the same everywhere.

This is Different than Chinese Feng Shui

Let’s get straight to the point.

What you’re about to learn is 100% authentic Feng Shui: a natural science explaining how to use the connection between yourself and the natural world – to your advantage.

But..

It is VERY different than ANY of the Traditional Chinese Feng Shui schools of training which is often – unfortunately – inaccurate AND outdated.

Think about it:

Although nature has stayed mostly the same in the last 10,000+ years, our daily lives have changed immensely!

It’s impossible to use the same advice as we would back then. That’s why we must adapt our use and understanding of nature to modern times.

For example: There was a time when having water on a property would be good advice. Back when it flowed naturally – in and out of a person’s home or village.

In those days, living near water meant people could have good health and enjoy an abundance of food. That’s why water is considered a good thing to have in our homes, according to Traditional Chinese Feng Shui.

At some point in history, it was logical advice.

But, storing water is no longer essential to our survival.  In fact, it’s bad for our health.

Read on…

Another big change is in the design of our homes. Long before air-conditioning and glass windows, homes were designed to stay cool using the natural flow of wind. Houses were designed to allow sunlight into every corner of the house which killed bacteria, keeping people healthy.

Every element of design had a reason and used nature to improve people’s lives. This isn’t true today: Most homes today are designed primarily for their look.

They don’t make the greatest use of airflow or sunlight. Instead, we use electricity to provide lighting and air conditioners or fans for airflow.

Now that you have a better idea of what behavioral Feng Shui is, let’s look at its origins…

Feng Shui’s Real Origins

You may be surprised to know this: Feng Shui existed long before the creation of China.

The origins of Feng Shui, as an understanding of nature’s interaction and influence on human life, dates as far back to Mesopotamian times – and perhaps even further.

(Naturally, it would have been called something else back then.)

Long before blogs or iPhones…

Our great (x500) grandparents learned how to live in harmony with their surroundings.

They discovered how to use – and later bend – nature to provide them everything they needed. Namely: Survival, comfort, good health, and a means of income.

First, their developing understanding of the wind’s patterns and water’s movements allowed them to grow more food than they needed and live healthier lives.

Later, as they realized how nature influenced every step of their lives in predictable patterns, they learned WHERE to grow their crops for the best harvest.

And our ancestor discovered how to arrange their living spaces for nature to effortlessly enhance their lives.

From the civilization blossoming in Mesopotamia, this natural science spread to neighboring regions including ancient Babylon, Egypt – and much later, Greece and China.

Over time, it inspired the creation of calendars, rich alphabets, and numerical systems based on the natural elements and movements in nature.

Plus, the design of magnificent architectural structures like the pyramids.

Where did “Feng Shui” go?

The original science fragmented over time.

Differing cultures, belief systems, and humanity’s focus on war, and political power, all took their toll – eroding the natural science…

..Until finally…

Only a few offshoots (or whispers) survived. You’ll probably be familiar with a few of them:

  • Traditional Chinese Feng Shui,
  • Numerology,
  • The Modern zodiac.

Traditional “Chinese” Feng Shui.

Feng Shui was once widely accepted as an integral part of Chinese culture. (and it still is. Ask any real estate agent with Chinese clients)

In the past, China was one of the few countries that maintained a true knowledge of nature, throughout its early development as a country.

In fact, at one point they used it in almost every area of their lives: Home designs, colors, calculating times to marry or have a child, war, and creating unheard-of medical advances for their time.

But 2,000 years ago, tragedy struck:

A hunger for power took hold…

… The rulers in ancient China ordered mass book burnings and the executions of scholars to “cleanse” China’s people of its “irrelevant” past.

(Fact: Book burnings and mass scholar executions have happened more than once in China. Each time cutting the cord to the past. The last one was less than 100 years ago.)

Only a fraction – with the original knowledge – survived execution. And those who did survive retreated into seclusion. Leaving civilization behind – and most of whom took their knowledge to the grave.

That’s why this guidebook – with Aur’s knowledge – is the only of its kind.

It doesn’t follow the popular yet broken Chinese lineage of Feng Shui. Instead, here you will learn about your life’s connection with nature…

from where it all started: The original Mesopotamian natural science.

How Feng Shui Works

How is it possible that you can tell EVERYTHING about a person’s life from their home?

Because there’s a science to it…

Certain laws govern our universe. Gravity is one, Chaos is another and Duality, yet another.

In this chapter: You’ll discover how the law of duality influences your daily habits, relationships, and even sleeping patterns in amazing detail.

Everything in this world has two sides to it. Up-Down, Light-Darkness, Spiritual-Physical. They are all part of the same whole..

..While having their own unique qualities and power in this world too.

The one pair of influences we’re going to focus on here is that of Masculine and Feminine.

This simple gender pair affects literally everything you do. Let’s start with the basics…

The “Ying and Yang” of Feng Shui

Did you know there’s a male and a female side to everything?..

…Even your own body.

You may have heard the noble prize winning research that discovered our brain’s two hemispheres each had their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

One was the “creative” side – and the other, “logical”. In fact, they are the ying and yang of masculine and femine traights.

our whole body also has a masculine, and a feminine side. The right side of your body is your male side. The left side of your body is your feminine side.

That’s why lefties are often seen as more creative, sensitive and emotionally attuned. Whereas right-handed people are commonly more motivated by logic and assertive.

But, what does this have to do with Feng Shui?

Because every object, including your house has a Male side and a Female side.

Actually, your home is also a physical representation of who you are and the life you live.

That’s why: Your home reveals everything about you. Every action you take in your home, including what you eat, is influenced by one of the two gender forces found in everything in nature.

Here’s an example for clarity:

Example:

If your kitchen is on the left (female) side of the property, you’re more likely to only eat things you’re familiar with. Because it is more aligned with the stereotypical female trait of preferring predictability.

But..

If your kitchen is on the right side, you’re more inclined to try new things. You’re even likely to get bored easily when eating the same thing over and over again. This aligns with stereotypical masculine traits.

As you can see, by connecting a particular room’s use and meaning in our lives to the gender area it’s located in, we are able to reveal details of a person’s life.

This is essentially how Behavioral Feng Shui works.

But…We can take it one step deeper.

There are 4 Gender Areas in your home.

Each of the gender areas influence influences a person’s behavior differently according to its corresponding personality.

Soon we’ll discuss the core charactistic of each of these areas and how they impact your life. But first, let’s make sure you know how to find them.

How to find the Four Behavioral Feng Shui Areas of Influence in YOUR home:

It takes some getting used to but it’s quite simple. Picture looking at your house from a bird’s eye view (or better yet, an aerial Google maps view).

Imagine as if the front of the property is at the bottom, and that the front road leading to your home is closest to the girl and boy areas on the bottom of the square.

Let’s look at what each of the four behavioral Feng Shui areas influence your actions and lifestyle.

The Fundamental Meanings of the Four Feng Shui Areas of Influence.

THE MAN AREA

The back right area of any property or structure in the world is influenced by characteristics of an adult male.

Although every man is very different on the surface, they will share deeper commonalities seen in males of most species.

These universal personality traits are what form the distinct influences from this area.

Here are some general keywords for the “Man area” in behavioral feng shui.

General Characteristics

High Ego – Territorial/ Possessive –  Likes variety and new things – Big Picture – Single-minded/Focused

THE WOMAN AREA

The back left area of a property or structure is governed by adult female influences.

As with the male are, they key influences this area will have on you and your behavior will be related to generic traits shared by adult women around the world.

What words come to mind when describing a “typical” adult female?

General Characteristics

Highly detail-oriented – Cares about how things look – Importance placed on Responsibility – Nagging – Likes everything organized and predictable

THE GIRL AREA

The two front areas are what we call the child areas of a house. The area at the front left of a property is associated with the young girl personality.

The influence this area has on your actions are associated with qualities most commonly seen in young girls, but which are present in all of us in some way.

Here are a few qualities we all share which are emphasized in when taking action in this area.

General Characteristics

– Desires attention – Everything is according to their emotion. – Good with routine tasks – Loves safety and similarity. – Always active.

THE BOY AREA

The front right of any structure or property is influenced by general characteristics of a young boy.

Boys will be boys, right? In this area, behavioral feng shui demonstrates that our actions and habits while in this area are influenced by general characteristics seen in a boy’s psyche.

Again, these are personality traits we all have. But, when in this area they will be emphasized more than usual. Here are some general characteristics for you:

 General Characteristics

Does everything for their own Personal enjoyment. – Active – Loves anything new – Doesn’t think before acting. – Not detailed-oriented.

The Meaning of Every Room

The rooms we eat, live and sleep in are more than just a room. They are symbollic. They are meaningful.

Each room represents an area in our life. It reveals who we are, what we like, what we don’t like, and how we live our lives.

In this chapter you’ll realize what this means in Behavioral Feng Shui.

In Behavioral Feng Shui, Every Room Symbolizes an Area of your Life

Each room in your house reveals something different about you.

Your bedroom reveals how you sleep, your personality, and your sexual habits.

Whereas…

Your living room expresses your social life and how you interact with visitors in your home.

The way we interpret this is by combining a room’s significance in our lives, with the area of influence it is in on your property.

For example:

We know that a kitchen or dining room represents our dining habits. We also know that one of the woman’s characteristics is a preference for routine and predictability.

That way, we know that if there is a kitchen in the Woman area of a property, the people there will like to eat at the same time every night and will have a routine around their meals.

BUT, because women also like to make things look nice, you know that people eating in this area will be expected to look good and be well mannered during dinner.

Bedroom Feng Shui

A bedroom is the most private area in the house. It’s where we are most vulnerable. It’s the one place you can be truly yourself.

In this chapter, you’ll find out how your bedroom can predict your sleeping patterns, relationships and even who you are as a person.

Your Bedroom Feng Shui Reveals Your Personality at home

Our bedroom is our sanctuary. It’s where we feel that we can be ourselves.

That’s why…

Your bedroom reveals your personality.

Behavioral Feng Shui gives us the tools to know a lot about anyone in the world, simply from their bedroom.

Your bedroom reveals your:

  • Overall Personality
  • Sleeping patterns
  • Sex-life
  • Relationship (marriage etc.)
  • Health (especially your joints & back)
What details can you know about all these things?

By connecting the specific use of the bedroom and its symbolic meaning in our lives with the Behavioral Feng Shui Area of Influence it is located in, you’re able to know:

How long they sleep for, whether it’s a deep sleep or not, what their sexual habits are, their general personality: confident, stubborn, detail orientated or not, etc.

Let’s look at what a bedroom in each of the four areas of influence reveals about the person sleeping there.

A BEDROOM IN THE FENG SHUI MAN AREA

 Characteristics:

  • Confident
  • Deep sleeper (hard to fall asleep)
  • Loves physical pleasures
  • Thinks big picture
  • Quickly bored

Anyone sleeping in the adult man area (back right of a property) will have masculine qualities as seen in an archetypical adult male….

They tend to be straightforward, spontaneous people who enjoy change. People sleeping here tend to focus on results and logic, rather than emotions.

We can assume that people with a bedroom in the man area like to stay in bed late and are deep sleepers, once they fall asleep.

However these days it will be more difficult for them to actually fall asleep.

They will be fast thinkers, and able to make decisions quickly.

What about Sex in the Man Area?

People here can be fun and adventurous. They aren’t afraid to get a little wild.

A BEDROOM IN THE FENG SHUI WOMAN AREA

 Characteristics:

  • Organized
  • Assumes they’re right
  • Appearances are everything
  • Gets into other’s business
  • Loves to plan & prepare

Anyone sleeping here (in the back left of a property) will have more pronounced feminine qualities in their personality and behavior when at home.

For example, a man will be gentler in character. They will be more romantic and sensitive. But they’ll also become more talkative and nitpicky in this area. Whereas a woman will be even more detail-oriented and tend to nag more.

Universally, people sleeping in this area of the house will be detail-oriented, organized, and like to have everything in its place. They’ll like to plan ahead, know everything going on around them, and what will happen next.

People sleeping here will have trouble getting to sleep. They’ve always got lots going on. Their minds will be active and they’ll be thinking about many things before going to sleep. Appearances are paramount for anyone sleeping here.

They like to take care of their “image”, and worry about how others think of them.

How’s sex in the Woman Area?

Adults sleeping here enjoy predictable routine. They love something they can count on.

A BEDROOM IN THE FENG SHUI GIRL AREA

 Characteristics:

  • Attention Seeking
  • Talkative & Gossipy
  • Emotionally driven
  • Daydreamer
  • Doesn’t sleep a lot

Those who sleep in the girl area (front left of the property) don’t tend to sleep well. They have over-active minds and often dream a lot, or lie in bed thinking too much.

Their restlessness makes them wake up early too, generally leaving anyone who sleeps here feeling chronically unrested and tired. A man sleeping in this area is different from a woman sleeping here.

Typically, any man sleeping in this area will be a quiet and private person. A woman sleeping in this position will love to be involved with whatever other people are doing and enjoy gossip.

If a woman sleeps in this position, she’ll want to feel special, just like any young girl would. She’ll be attention-seeking with those close to her.

How’s Sex in the Girl Area?

Note: Keep in mind that these areas do not have to do with age. They are universal influences that align with these stereotyical characters.

Having said that, any man who sleeps in this area of a house won’t have much interest in sex. A woman, won’t want sex, per se, either. Instead, she’ll want attention and affection from her partner, which could likely result in sex. Her primary motivator is that she wants her partner to make her feel special. That’s why foreplay in this area will be good, but intercourse won’t be anything special.

A BEDROOM IN THE FENG SHUI BOY AREA

Characteristics:

  • Hates routine
  • Playful
  • Messy
  • Bored Easily
  • Restless

People living in this house (with their bedroom in the front right of the property)  won’t sleep much. They’ll have a hard time getting back to sleep once they wake up too.

Generally, people sleeping in the young boy area won’t spend much time in their bedroom. People here love everything “new”. Similarly to how young boys love change and to experience new things.

Anyone sleeping in this area will get bored quickly, and be terrible with details.

What’s Sex like for you in the Boy Area?

A man in this area will be interested in sex in the early stages of a relationship. After a while, he will be interested in doing things other than sex. A woman sleeping in this area won’t be that interested in sex.

Bathroom Feng Shui

We instinctively know that water represents money. And the bathroom is the one room in the house designed specifically for expelling water from the house.

That’s why:

In this chapter, you’ll see how to connect the area of influence with the behavior of spending money to gain a better understanding of how a person manages their money – just by peeking in their loo.

Your Bathroom Feng Shui Reveals Your Spending Habits and Money Management.

Since the beginning, our ancestors have relied on one thing for their survival…

Water.

It has always been the coveted element meaning the difference between life and death, abundance or hardship.

This is why the bathroom, the one place in the house which we primarily use for letting go of water from your body, represents your financial life.

More specifically: Your toilet reveals your spending habits.

But, what else can we see from the bathroom?

Your Bathroom’s location in the house influences your:

  • Health (according to its location in relation to other rooms)
  • Spending habits and money management skills.
  • How much time you spend in the bathroom.

What can we tell about each of these according to your bathroom’s behavioral Feng Shui?

Firstly, the direction your toilet faces shows whether you waste money, or spend it wisely. We talk more about that in the full “Your Home Reveals Everything About You” book.

Also, a bathroom’s Feng Shui location according to the four areas on influence, reveals how much time you spend in there, whether you keep it clean (I hope so)..

..and how exactly you spend your money. Let’s jump right in and look at how the location of your bathroom shows your spending habits, using the Behavioral Feng Shui “4 Areas of Influence”

TOILET IN THE FENG SHUI MAN AREA

Big Spender

Spending Prefernces:

  • High Quality
  • Big Items
  • New and up-to-date
  • Doesn’t care about price

+ Tends to spend a lot of time in the bathroom.

How does a man typically spend money?

Does he like or usually buy little things or big things?…

…Is he attracted to a “sale” sign? Certainly not. The average guy isn’t interested in small purchases or things just because they’re on sale.

Instead, he has his eye on larger, flashier purchases.

Men want to buy big toys: A new car or a TV surround sound system.

In essence, a man buys big, and something to last. He doesn’t care how much things cost but rather how good they are (in his mind). If your toilet’s here, behavioral Feng Shui dictates that you’ll share similar spending habits as that stereotypical “male” character.

TOILET IN THE FENG SHUI WOMAN AREA

Bargain Hunter

Spending Preferences:

  •  Loves “Sales”
  •  Buys many small things
  •  Has to have a “reason”.
  •  Never buys just one thing.
  •  Buys for house and others.

+ Tends to spend time doing many things in the bathroom. Usually tidy.

When a bathroom is in the woman’s area, we know that everything is clean and in its place. Women spend a lot of time in the bathroom, but they don’t hang out in there like a man does.

When they are done with what they needed to do, they will tidy up after themselves, and leave. Women tend to buy little things, even until their money is gone.  Especially if those little things are on sale.

THE TOILET IN THE FENG SHUI GIRL AREA

Emotional Shopper

Spending Preferences:

  • Buys little things
  • Buys everything from looks
  • Get whatever makes them feel special
  • Purely emotional spender.
  • Often something wrong with the things they buy

+Tend to have a clean but messy bathroom. They won’t spend much time there.

What do young girls love to buy? Easy! They like cute things. Think of Barbie’s, teddies, tea sets, decorative Knick knacks, and dolls.

This doesn’t mean that everyone with a bathroom here will buy a dollhouse. But it does mean that EVERYTHING they buy has to have an emotional or sentimental reason, not a practical one.

If your bathroom is in this area, it’ll always be clean, but messy. You won’t spend much time in the bathroom either.

THE TOILET IN THE FENG SHUI BOY AREA

Insatiable desires

Spending Prefernces

  • Loves new things
  • Likely in debt
  • Spontaneous shopper
  • Buys things they never use
  • Bored quickly with whatever they have.

+ Room doesn’t tend to get cleaned. They don’t spend much time there.

Who would you least likely want to give your credit card to? A little girl? Or a little boy? .

..Probably neither.

The problem with boys is that, if given free rein, they’ll want everything in sight.

A young boy likes to have everything that’s new and fun.

He always wants the latest gizmos, gadgets, phones, computers, and toys. But it has to be brand new, and it has to be now.

What about their behavior in the bathroom? Young males don’t usually like to spend much time in the bathroom. They’re too active and would rather be doing something more interesting that sitting on the toilet.

If your toilet is in this area, you’re likely to share the same characteristics.

Kitchen Feng Shui

The kitchen is the one room where the family comes together. You can always tell from a kitchen if the family is warm and inviting, or…

prefer their privacy and independance.

In this chapter you’ll learn how a kitchen can show you the family dynamic and dining routine in a house.

Your Kitchen Feng Shui Reveals Your Family Relationships

You can tell nearly anything about a family from their kitchen.

Like…

How close they are, if they talk a lot with each other or have relatively separate lives…

…even if they eat together each evening.  Just from their kitchen’s location.

Here’s how: The location of your kitchen within your home influences how you spend time with others in the house AND how you use the kitchen itself.

Ie: Do you cook a big feast every night?

Or are you more of a grab and run household..

Here’s exactly what you can tell from anyone’s kitchen Feng Shui:

  • How close everyone is in the house.
  • How they talk with each other at dinner.
  • What their eating habits are at home

Here’s what you can tell about a kitchen in each of the four Feng Shui areas of influence.

A KITCHEN IN THE FENG SHUI MAN AREA

Family Dynamics:

  • Very close family
  • Loud and fun
  • Spend lots of time together
  • Argue often but never lasting

+ Tend to eat big meals and love variety

If you walk into this house as they were having dinner, you’d feel like you’d entered a joyous feast.

People here like big meals and most importantly, love spending time together.

Anyone who cooks in this area will cook a lot, and there’s always plenty to go around. Unless, they live alone, then they aren’t likely to cook at all except when guests come over.

If eating in this area, nobody will really worry about how the food looks, as long as it tastes good.

A KITCHEN IN FENG SHUI WOMAN AREA

Family Dynamics:

  •  Formal and disciplined
  • Have to look good.
  • Polite and well-mannered at the table

+ Tends to have meal routines and likes to have a “proper” dinner.

This family loves routine.

They come together every night at the same time and all eat together.

They like to make rules and expect everyone to act politely, even when it’s only the family eating together.

Good manners and keeping up with appearances is important to a family living in this house.

If the dining area is in this area, eating will be formal. Detail is taken in the presentation of the table, and everything will be nicely set each time they eat.

Those living here have routines about the types of meals they eat and have a reason for everything they eat.

This article is an extraction from the book: Your Home Reveals Everything About You Available in Amazon. There’s so much more to learn in this content-rich book in much greater detail.

A KITCHEN IN THE FENG SHUI GIRL AREA

Family Dynamics:

  • Everyone has their own lives
  • Aren’t close emotionally

+ Tend not to use the the kitchen for cooking meals and would rather go out.

Everyone in this house has their own lives, and like it that way.

As you could imagine, little girls usually aren’t the cooking types. They like other people to cook for them.

So we can tell that this kitchen won’t get used often. Those living here would probably only make coffee, or at most a sandwich or easy salad.

The only cooking they would do would be things that they think would be easy to whip up. They’d rather go out to dinner anyway, or bring home takeaway.

A KITCHEN IN FENG SHUI BOY AREA

Family Dynamics:

  • Talkative and friendly with each other.
  • Loud and boisterous
  • Playful

+ Food tends to either looks good and lacks flavor or lacks presentation but tastes great.

This family is fun, talkative, and friendly with each other. They love sharing stories, especially when they get to talk about themselves. They like family time to be loud and boisterous.

As far as cooking goes, anything prepared here will either look good and lack flavor, or will look unappetizing, but taste great.

People cooking here will always want to try something new, but won’t ever stick to the recipe

Just like a little boy, people cooking or eating in this area can sometimes be clumsy too. So expect little accidents like things breaking in the kitchen on a regular basis.

Living Room Feng Shui

Your living room is the window into your social life.  It’s the one room in which you have the inside world meet the outside one.

In this chapter, you’ll find out how just the location of your living room, already reveals everything about your perspectives on your friends and social activities.

What your living room Feng Shui reveals about your social life.

Having friends over, entertaining family guests, having a coffee with neighbors…

All these things happen mostly in the living room.

That’s why: Your living room Feng Shui reveals everything about your social life.

Here are a few things that your living room shows about your social life:

  • Whether you like having friends over at the house
  • How you interact with guests in your home
  • How important a social life is to you.

Let’s look at what your living room says about you according to its location in your home…

A LIVING ROOM IN THE MAN AREA

Social Preferences:

  • Loves to entertain
  • Big, lively get-togethers
  • Love spending time in large groups

+ Tend to stay in the living room for long periods of time. Comfort is king in this house.

When a man has friends over they like to talk, laugh and have some relaxing fun.

They don’t care about appearances, only to be themselves and enjoy the moment. A living room in this area shows us that the people living here love to entertain.

They don’t always have friends over, but when they do, it’s a big and lively get-together.

For residents in this house, comfort is the first priority. They don’t worry too much about how things look, as long as it’s comfortable.

A LIVING ROOM IN THE WOMAN AREA

Social Preferences:

  • Formal social life
  • Social life used for keeping up appearances
  • Likes to spend time in small groups or one on one

+ Uses the room routinely and everything is kept in its special place.

Keeping up appearances is important for those with a living room in this area of the house. Actually, maybe we wouldn’t call it a living room, and instead call it a showcase for any visitors because you can be sure that this room will be kept neat and tidy at all times, just in case someone comes by.

People with a living room here will only invite people over who they feel are important. They want to bring people that they can impress with their kind hospitality and attractive setting into the house.

Conversations in this area will tend to be about other people and will always be pleasant or well-mannered conversations only.

A LIVING ROOM IN THE GIRL AREA

Social Preferences:

  • Only invite trusted friends over
  • Love their social comfort zone.

+ Tend not to use the room often.

How are young girls in social settings?

It depends whether they know the people or not. No matter how outspoken or confident they are with their family, young girls are naturally reserved around new people.

They often staying close to their mother or father and won’t talk much when meeting new people. Those with a living room in this zone won’t often allow people into their homes.

They’re certainly not the kind of people who will invite a large group of new friends over for BBQ on a Sunday. They like to keep their outside life and their home life separate.

LIVING ROOM IN THE BOY AREA

Social Preferences:

  • Love meeting new people.
  • Always keeping active
  • Playful and fun with friends

+ Tend not to sit still for long. Or, if they do, they’re on their phone or ipad.

Young boys love to be active, exploring the world, playing with their newest toys. They are always coming up with new and exciting things to do.

But they aren’t the type that will sit down and relax somewhere. People in this position will be quite active in their social lives, but not in the house.

They might watch a movie, or sit and chat on the phone, but you’ll never find them lazing about for extended periods of time. Just like a young boy, people who live here love new things when it comes to entertainment.

They won’t be the kinds of people who want to watch the same movie twice. They’ll always like to experience something new.

Office Feng Shui

Your workspace, either at home, or in an office building, influences your work productivity and style.

A simply change in workspace can ignite creativity or  hone your concentration to a laser focus, depending on how you use it.

In this chapter you will see how your workspace influences your professional behavior in tangible ways.

Your office space reveals your work habits and productivity.

Have you ever noticed that some places are great to work in, but in other palces you just can’t seem to focus?

That’s because:

Your workspace surroundings influence your work style through behavioral Feng Shui.

I’ll explain:

Where you work within a building effects your work habits and productivity.

Some Feng Shui areas are great for creative work, whereas others help you to be more detail oriented and systematic in your approach.

Here’s how your office Feng Shui affects you depending on your location in the building.

AN OFFICE IN THE FENG SHUI MAN AREA

Work Style:

  • Great at big-picture planning
  • Makes mistakes in areas of small details
  • Stubborn and want things done their way
  • Single-minded

+ Tend to stay in the office for long periods of time

If we imagine a typical male in a work environment, we could make some assumptions about his work style. Using this image of a generic male figure, let’s start to describe the working habits of someone with an office or workspace in the man area of a house.

When they sit at their desk, we can say that they’ll do so for very extended periods of time. Because they are not routine-driven, they won’t work each day at the same time. But when they do work, they’ll often be so involved with their work that they’ll lose track of time.

Men usually want everything perfect, but will make a lot of little mistakes, especially when it comes to the details. Just like an average man, anyone sitting here to work won’t be good at highly detailed tasks.

The positive point is that people working here are skilled big-picture thinkers, which allows them to be good at making and achieving lofty goals and targets for themselves.

AN OFFICE IN THE FENG SHUI WOMAN AREA

Work Style:

  • Like to plan their days ahead of time
  • Everything done in structure
  • Bad at creative tasks

+ Tend to be well-organized and tidy.

The characteristics of a woman’s work style are different from that of a man. Women, on  average, are more adept at detail-orientated work than men. They often notice many things that a man would miss.

They’re usually also more organized than a man. They tend to like everything in its place, and may even have something on their desk as decoration to personalize it. Someone working in the woman’s area of a house or office will be detailed in everything they do.

They will double or even triple-check their work, worrying about the all the specifics. They’ll be good at delegating work to other people, and overseeing another’s performance.

A bad thing about this area is that it isn’t the greatest for individuals who need to use their imaginations, or come up with lots of fresh or new ideas for their work.

AN OFFICE IN THE FENG SHUI GIRL AREA

Work Style:

  • Bossy
  • Good at making things look good
  • Results presented depend on their mood at the time

+ Tends to have a messy office and won’t spend much time here.

For a young girl, whatever she thinks is important, is.

At least, in her mind it is. Not only is it important, but she feels that others should see the importance of what she’s doing, too. Someone who works in this area will always think that their job is important, and feel that they should receive recognition for their work.

That’s why when they do anything, they want it to look good. But, the actual quality of work will depend largely on their mood at the time. People working in the young girl area are great delegators but can come across as bossy. Not that they care.

People working in this area will love to be talkative while they work, but will only want to talk about anything BUT their job.

AN OFFICE IN THE FENG SHUI BOY AREA

Work Style:

  • Does everything quickly, but make mistakes
  • Quickly bored with routine
  • Great at customer service roles

+ Tends to be mentally restless and won’t spend long periods of time here.

Boys have very short attention spans.

If it’s not interesting, new or exciting, they won’t pay much attention to it.

In this way, those working in the young boy aren’t the type of people who like to sit still behind their desks for extended periods of time.

They want variety.

Any details or routine work will be seen as very boring. This is probably one of the worst areas for someone who needs to do a lot of routine paperwork.

People working in this area excel when it comes to new ideas, new technology, and anything that has to do with being around others and pleasing others.

But be careful…

Those working here have a tendency to start multiple projects without finishing them.
